I've been collecting vinyl since 1986 and mixing since 1989, started with electro/hip hop then got into the hardcore scene, I was working and sometimes DJing down at Echoes Bar '89-'90 which lead me to work behind the scenes at Seduction @ Lido '91-'92 and was lucky enough to attend the illegal Palm Bay raves.

The raves came thick and fast (Reincarnation, Lazerdrome, Paradise Club, Roller Express...) and I carried on buying jungle/drum & bass and went to many a good house party. Started working with Electrybe promotions in 1994 and played out at their various events around the south-east including Margate, Deal, Herne Bay, Folkstone and the good old Grove ferry. They also had a pirate radio station and a studio where I made my first drum & bass tune.

In 1996 and whilst still taking an interest in drum & bass I started experimenting with my DJing and scratching a lot more and buying Big Beat/Trip Hop with labels like Ninja Tune, Mo-Wax, Skint, Fused n Bruised, Wall of Sound etc...

I moved towards the Nu Skool Breaks sound with labels like TCR, Botchit n Scarper and anything by Adam Freeland.

I loved finding new labels/artists/tunes and sharing my love of Breaks with my friends (Bigup Madbill). I was resident @ Bombers for a couple of years 2000-2002 and an original Genetically Modified DJ and now a Crooked Halo resident Breaks DJ.

Today I'm very heavily into Breaks and still buying vinyl, but also I've always listened to drum & bass and into a bit of dubstep/house & many other sounds.

I have also been into making music and for around 18 years.
